Who was built this temple?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Kinkaku-ji Temple was originally the villa of Saionji Kinugasa of Fijiwara Family, a noble in the early Kamakura Period(1185-1333). Ashikaga Toshimasa, the third shogun of the Muromachi shogunate, purchased and renovated the villa in 1397.<br \/>\nHe used it as the political center.<br \/>\n\uff08\u91d1\u95a3\u5bfa\u306f\u3082\u3068\u938c\u5009\u6642\u4ee3\u524d\u671f\u306e\u8cb4\u65cf\u3067\u3042\u308b\u897f\u5712\u5bfa\u516c\u7d4c\u306e\u9928\u3060\u3063\u305f\u3002\u5ba4\u753a\u5e55\u5e9c\u306e3\u4ee3\u5c06\u8ecd\uff1a\u8db3\u5229\u7fa9\u6e80\u304c1397\u5e74\u306b\u305d\u306e\u9928\u3092\u8cfc\u5165\u3057\u3066\u6539\u7bc9\u3057\u305f\u3002\u5f7c\u306f\u653f\u6cbb\u306e\u62e0\u70b9\u3068\u3057\u3066\u4f7f\u7528\u3057\u305f\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"3_What_is_enshrined_in_this_temple\">3. What is enshrined in this temple?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>After Yoshimitsu died, this villa was conversed into the temple of Zen Buddhism by his will.<br \/>\nAnd it named by Soseki Muso, a Zen priest after the priest name who became a priest.<br \/>\n\uff08\u7fa9\u6e80\u306e\u6b7b\u5f8c\u3001\u3053\u306e\u9928\u306f\u5f7c\u306e\u610f\u601d\u3067\u7985\u5b97\u306e\u5bfa\u306b\u6539\u5b97\u3055\u308c\u305f\u3002<br \/>\n\u7985\u5b97\u306e\u50e7\u306a\u308a\u5922\u7a93\u758e\u77f3\u3068\u6539\u540d\u3055\u308c\u305f\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"4_What_is_this_temple_famous_for\">4. What is this temple famous for ?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>1) Kinkau-ji Temple is listed as one of the 17 World Cultural Heritage Site in Kyoto.\u3000 Along with Gnakau-ji is one of temples that represents Kyoto.\u3000Most tourists visit both Kinkaku-ji and Ginkaku-ji Temple. Kinkau-ji is officially named \u201cRockon-ji\u201d.<br \/>\n\uff08\u91d1\u95a3\u5bfa\u306f\u4eac\u90fd\u306b17\u4ef6\u3042\u308b\u4e16\u754c\u6587\u5316\u907a\u7523\u306e\u4e00\u3064\u3057\u3066\u767b\u9332\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3001\u9280\u95a3\u5bfa\u3068\u5171\u306b\u3001\u91d1\u95a3\u5bfa\u306f<br \/>\n\u4eac\u90fd\u3092\u4ee3\u8868\u3059\u308b\u5bfa\u306e\uff11\u3064\u3067\u3059\u3002\u307b\u3068\u3093\u3069\u306e\u65c5\u884c\u8005\u306f\u4e21\u65b9\u8a2a\u308c\u3001\u672c\u6765\u306e\u540d\u524d\u306f\u9e7f\u82d1\u5bfa\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<p>2) This temple was rebuilt two time in 1464 and 1950.<br \/>\nFirst time, this was burnt down by a war called \u201cOnin War\u201d. Second time, this was burnt down by arson.
