Who was built this shrine?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>1) This shrine has the oldest history in Kyoto along with Kamigamo Shrine and was\u3000recognized as a World Heritage sites in 1994. During the Ounin-no-ran(war, 1467-77) most shrine building were burned to ashes, together with surrounding forest, Tadasu-no-mori.<br \/>\n\uff08\u5e73\u5b89\u4eac\u9020\u55b6\u306b\u5f53\u305f\u3063\u3066\u306f\u3001\u56fd\u5bb6\u93ae\u8b77\u306e\u795e\u793e\u3068\u3057\u3066\u671d\u793c\u306e\u5d07\u656c\u3092\u96c6\u3081\u3066\u304a\u308a\u300111\u4e16\u7d00\u521d\u982d\u306b\u73fe\u5728\u306b\u8fd1\u3044\u59ff\u306b\u6574\u3048\u3089\u308c\u305f\u3002\u5fdc\u4ec1\u306e\u4e71\uff081466-77\uff09\u306b\u3088\u308a\u3001\u5883\u5185\u306f\u5e83\u3044\u539f\u91ce\u3067\u3042\u3063\u305f\u7cfa\u306e\u68ee\u306e\u6a39\u6728\u3068\u5171\u306b\u307b\u3068\u3093\u3069\u713c\u5931\u3057\u305f\u3002\uff09<br \/>\n4) They are built in the Nagare-dukuri(following) style of architecture, which show clearly the ancient style of architecture form with prayer porticos in front.<br \/>\n\uff08\u6d41\u9020\u308a\u306e\u672c\u6bbf\u306f\u6b63\u9762\u306b\u5411\u62dd\u3092\u4ed8\u3051\u305f\u53e4\u3044\u69d8\u5f0f\u3092\u3088\u304f\u6b8b\u3057\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002\uff09<br \/>\n5) In this shrine, the building are renovated on a large scale every 21 years.<br \/>\nThe custom to be established was in Heian Period(794-1192) and latest renovation was completed in 2015.
