Who was built this temple?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>1) This temple was built in 984 at the detached palace of Kaguraoka-higashi\u3000by the foundation patron of Hieizan, priest Kaizan.<br \/>\nThe formal name is \u201cShinshogokuraku-ji\u201d of Tendai Sect.<br \/>\n\uff08\u771f\u5982\u5802\u306f\u5e73\u5b89\u6642\u4ee3,984\u5e74\u306b\u5ef6\u66a6\u5bfa\u306e\u50e7\u30fb\u6212\u7b97\u4e0a\u4eba\u306b\u3088\u308a\u795e\u697d\u5ca1\u6771\u306e\u96e2\u5bae\u306b\u5275\u5efa\u3055\u308c\u305f\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<p>2) It is said to be the request of Senshi Fujiwara who was also known as Higashi Sanjyo-in, the mother of Emperor Ichijyo. Amida Nyorai standing statue made by Gikaku Buddhist saint was established at the main hall.<br \/>\n\uff08\u305d\u308c\u306f\u3001\u4e00\u6761\u5929\u7687\u306e\u6bcd\u3001\u6771\u4e09\u6761\u9662\u3001\u85e4\u539f\u8a6e\u5b50\u306e\u8981\u671b\u3067\u3042\u308a\u3001\u6148\u899a\u5927\u5e2b\u306b\u3088\u308a\u4f5c\u3089\u308c\u305f\u963f\u5f25\u9640\u5982\u6765\u7acb\u50cf\u304c\u5b89\u7f6e\u3055\u308c\u305f\u3068\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<p>3) At first, the temple was located to Malashinryo-do at the north-east of present place.<br \/>\nBut after being devastered in Onin Wars, it was moved to several areas and finally started to reconstruct at the present locations in 1693.<br \/>\n\uff08\u5f53\u521d\u3001\u3053\u306e\u5834\u6240\u306e\u6771\u5317\u306b\u4f4d\u7f6e\u3059\u308b\u5143\u771f\u5982\u5802\u306e\u5730\u306b\u3042\u3063\u305f\u3002\u3057\u304b\u3057\u3001\u5fdc\u4ec1\u306e\u4e71\u3067\u8352\u5ec3\u3057\u305f\u5f8c\u3001\u5404\u5730\u3078\u8ee2\u3005\u3068\u3057\u30011693\u5e74\u306b\u73fe\u5728\u5730\u3078\u623b\u308a\u518d\u5efa\u304c\u958b\u59cb\u3055\u308c\u305f\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<p>4) The main hall was established in 1717, is one of the largest of main hall among the temple of Tendai Sect in Kyoto city. The principal image, Amida Nyorai statue is enshrined in this hall. This statue is called \u201cUnazuki-no-mida\u201d and is open the public only once a year, on November 15.<br \/>\n\uff08\u672c\u5802\u306f\u6c5f\u6238\u6642\u4ee3\u306e1717\u5e74\u4e0a\u68df\u3067\u4eac\u90fd\u5e02\u5185\u306e\u5929\u53f0\u5b97\u5bfa\u9662\u306e\u672c\u5802\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3001\u6700\u5927\u898f\u6a21\u3092\u8a87\u308a\u3001<br \/>\n\u5185\u90e8\u306b\u306f\u672c\u5c0a\u306e\u963f\u5f25\u9640\u5982\u6765\u7acb\u50cf\u304c\u7940\u3089\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002<br \/>\n\u672c\u5c0a\u306f\u300c\u3046\u306a\u305a\u304d\u306e\u5f25\u9640\u300d\u3068\u3082\u547c\u3070\u308c\u3001\u6bce\u5e7411\u670815\u65e5\u306b\u958b\u5e33\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"3_What_is_this_temple_famous_for\">3.
