Who was this shrine built?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>1) There are various opinions about creation. In 656, the Messenger from the Korean Peninsula enshrined the mountain god of Gozu-Daiou which has become a mythology stage.<br \/>\n(\u5275\u7d00\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u306f\u8af8\u8aac\u3042\u308b\u304c\u3001656\u5e74\u671d\u9bae\u534a\u5cf6\u304b\u3089\u306e\u4f7f\u7bc0\u304c\u795e\u8a71\u306e\u821e\u53f0\u3067\u3042\u308b\u725b\u982d(\u3054\u305a)\u5927\u738b\u306e\u5c71\u306e\u795e\u3092\u7940\u3063\u305f\u3002)<br \/>\n2) This shrine was built in 876 to pray for the recovery from epidemic, after the priest Ennyo invited the Emperor Gozu to Kyoto. People in Kyoto tried to enshrine the shrine and escape from such epidemic.<br \/>\n\uff08\u3053\u306e\u795e\u793e\u306f876\u5e74\u3001\u50e7\u5186\u5982\u304c\u725b\u982d\u5929\u7687\u3092\u8fce\u3048\u305f\u5f8c\u3001\u6d41\u884c\u75c5\u304b\u3089\u56de\u5fa9\u3092\u7948\u308b\u305f\u3081\u3001\u5275\u5efa\u3057\u305f\u3068\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u308b\u3002\u4eac\u90fd\u306e\u4eba\u3005\u306f\u3001\u3053\u306e\u795e\u3092\u7940\u3063\u3066\u6d41\u884c\u75c5\u3092\u7953\u304a\u3046\u3068\u3057\u305f\u3002\uff09<br \/>\n3) Base on such history, Gion committee was started and the parade of decorated floats were conducted from the middle Heian period. Gion committee has been held magnificient\u3000in July every year at the traditional festival of Yasaka Shrine.<br \/>\n\uff08\u305d\u3093\u306a\u6b74\u53f2\u3092\u57fa\u306b\u3001\u7947\u5712\u4f1a\u304c\u59cb\u307e\u308a\u3001\u5e73\u5b89\u4e2d\u671f\u304b\u3089\u5c71\u927e\u5de1\u884c\u3082\u5b9f\u65bd\u3055\u308c\u305f\u3002\u73fe\u5728\u3082\u6bce\u5e747\u6708\u7947\u5712\u4f1a\u304c\u516b\u5742\u795e\u793e\u306e\u796d\u793c\u3068\u3057\u3066\u3001\u76db\u5927\u306b\u884c\u308f\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002\uff09<br \/>\n4) In 1868, the Meiji period, the shrine broke buddhist facilities by the Ordinance distinguishing Shinto and Buddhism. What is this shrine famous for ?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This shrine is famous for the prosperous business and charm against evil.<br \/>\n(\u3053\u306e\u795e\u793e\u306f\u3001\u5546\u58f2\u7e41\u76db\u3001\u5384\u9664\u3051\u306e\u795e\u3068\u3057\u3066\u6709\u540d\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002)<\/p>\n<h4><span id=\"1_Gion_Festival\">1) Gion Festival \u3000\u7947\u5712\u796d<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>\u2460 Gion Festival,held in July, is one of the three major festivals in Japan. It started in 9th century when the emperor ordered a religious ritual to help against some epidemics.<br \/>\n\uff087\u6708\u306b\u958b\u50ac\u3055\u308c\u308b\u7947\u5712\u796d\u306f\u65e5\u672c\u4e09\u5927\u796d\u308a\u306e\u3072\u3068\u3064\u3067\u3042\u308b\u30029\u4e16\u7d00\u3001\u5929\u7687\u306e\u52c5\u4ee4\u3067\u3001\u75ab\u75c5<br \/>\n\u9000\u6563\u306e\u305f\u3081\u5b97\u6559\u5100\u5f0f\u304c\u884c\u308f\u308c\u305f\u306e\u304c\u8d77\u6e90\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002\uff09<br \/>\n\u2461 The highlight of the festival is a parade of about 30 decorated floats on July 17th.<br \/>\nIn this parade, performers sing, dance and play traditional instruments.<br \/>\nI strongly recommend you to see this festival and I\u2019m sure you love it.<br \/>\n(\u796d\u306e\u30cf\u30a4\u30e9\u30a4\u30c8\u306f7\u670817\u65e5\u3001\u7d0430\u306e\u88c5\u98fe\u3055\u308c\u305f\u5c71\u927e\u5de1\u884c\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002\u5c71\u927e\u5de1\u884c\u306f\u3001\u6b4c\u3084\u821e\u304c\u62ab\u9732\u3055\u308c\u308b\u4ed6\u3001\u4f1d\u7d71\u697d\u5668\u306e\u6f14\u594f\u306a\u3069\u304c\u884c\u308f\u308c\u308b\u3002\u3042\u306a\u305f\u306b\u5f37\u304f\u7947\u5712\u796d\u3092\u89b3\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3092\u304a\u52e7\u3081\u3057\u307e\u3059\u3002\u304d\u3063\u3068\u3001\u6c17\u306b\u5165\u308b\u3068\u601d\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002)<br \/>\n2) God of Prosperous Business \u5546\u58f2\u7e41\u76db\u306e\u795e<br \/>\nYasaka Shrine is the head Gion-sya of more than 3,000 shrines in Japan and was built in 1,300 years ago. It is known for the name of \u201cGion-san\u201d in general and called \u201cGion-sya\u201d in acient.The name of Gion, known as Kagai, is derived from its prosperity as a front street.<br \/>\n\uff08\u5168\u56fd\u3067\u7d043,000\u4ee5\u4e0a\u3042\u308b\u3068\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u308b\u7947\u5712\u793e\u306e\u7dcf\u672c\u793e\u3067\u30011,300\u5e74\u524d\u306b\u5275\u5efa\u3055\u308c\u305f\u3002<br \/>\n\u516b\u5742\u795e\u793e\u306f\u53e4\u304f\u306f\u7947\u5712\u793e\u3068\u547c\u3070\u308c\u3001\u4e00\u822c\u306b\u300c\u7947\u5712\u3055\u3093\u300d\u306e\u540d\u3067\u89aa\u3057\u307e\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002<br \/>\n\u82b1\u8857\u3068\u77e5\u3089\u308c\u308b\u7947\u5712\u306e\u540d\u3082\u9580\u524d\u8857\u3068\u3057\u3066\u6804\u3048\u305f\u3053\u3068\u306b\u7531\u6765\u3059\u308b\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"4_What_is_highlight\">4. Just look to the east.<br \/>\nYou can see a gate with big red pillars. That is west gate Yasaka Shrine, facing Sijyo Street.<br \/>\nThe Gion Festival, one of three major festivals in Japan, is a ceremony of this shrine.<br \/>\n\uff08\u56db\u6761\u901a\u308a\u306f\u89b3\u5149\u5ba2\u3067\u8cd1\u308f\u3063\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002\u6771\u3092\u5411\u3044\u3066\u898b\u3066\u3002\u3042\u308c\u306f\u56db\u6761\u901a\u308a\u306b\u9762\u3057\u305f\u516b\u5742\u795e\u793e\u306e\u897f\u697c\u9580\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002\u3000\u65e5\u672c\u4e09\u5927\u796d\u306e\u4e00\u3064\u3001\u7947\u5712\u796d\u306f\u3053\u306e\u795e\u793e\u306e\u796d\u793c\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<h4><span id=\"2_EkiShrine\">2) Eki\u3000Shrine\u3000\u75ab\u795e\u793e<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>It is said that this is a shrine dedicated to Sominshorai and we were given to holly ring to escape the epidemics. On looking up at the main hall, we can find blue dragon wood carving. At the Setsubun festival of dance dedication, Maiko and Geiko dance gorgeously. At the mid-autumn festival, Koto, Garaku and Dance are dedicated.<br \/>\n\uff08\u5965\u304c\u672c\u6bbf\u3001\u624b\u524d\u304c\u821e\u6bbf\u3002\u672c\u6bbf\u3068\u62dd\u6bbf\u3092\u4e00\u3064\u306e\u5c4b\u6839\u3067\u8986\u3046\u7947\u5712\u9020\u3068\u547c\u3070\u308c\u30011654\u5e74\u5fb3\u5ddd4\u4ee3\u5c06\u8ecd\u5bb6\u7db1\u304c\u518d\u5efa\u3057\u305f\u3082\u306e\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3002\u672c\u6bbf\u306e\u5927\u5c4b\u6839\u306f\u6a9c\u76ae\u847a\u304d\u3067\u5927\u304d\u306a\u53cd\u308a\u304c\u7f8e\u3057\u3044\u3002\u672c\u6bbf\u3092\u898b\u308b\u3068\u9bae\u3084\u304b\u306a\u9752\u8272\u306e\u9f8d\u306e\u6728\u5f6b\u308a\u306e\u201c\u9f8d\u543c\u201d\u304c\u3042\u308b\u3002<br \/>\n2\u6708\u306e\u7bc0\u5206\u796d\u306e\u821e\u8e0a\u5949\u7d0d\u3067\u306f\u3001\u821e\u5993\u3001\u82b8\u59d1\u304c\u83ef\u3084\u304b\u306b\u821e\u3046\u3002\u4e2d\u79cb\u540d\u6708\u306e\u89b3\u6708\u796d\u3067\u306f\u3001\u7434\u3084\u96c5\u697d\u3001\u821e\u697d\u304c\u5949\u7d0d\u3055\u308c\u308b\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<h4><span id=\"4_South_Tower_Main_Gate\">4) South Tower (Main Gate)\u00a0 \u00a0\u5357\u697c\u9580\uff08\u6b63\u9580\uff09(\u91cd\u8981\u6587\u5316\u8ca1)<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>There are South tower and Torii made of stone. This is the main tower leading Kodai-ji and Kiyomizu-dera.<br \/>\n\uff08\u672c\u6bbf\u306e\u5357\u5074\u306b\u3042\u308b\u5357\u697c\u9580\u3068\u77f3\u9ce5\u5c45\u304c\u3042\u308b\u3002\u3053\u3061\u3089\u304c\u6b63\u9580\u3067\u9ad8\u53f0\u5bfa\u3001\u6e05\u6c34\u5bfa\u3068\u7d9a\u304f\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<h4><span id=\"5_Gion_Shinsui\">5) Gion Shinsui\u00a0 \u00a0\u7947\u5712\u795e\u6c34<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The Gion Shisui is called the Rikishi, and it is said that any ladies are able to become a beauty after drinking this water and visit the shrine with a name of Utsushi Gozensya.<br \/>\n\uff08\u7947\u5712\u795e\u6c34\u306f\u300c\u529b\u6c34\u300d\u3068\u547c\u3070\u308c\u3066\u3044\u3066\u3001\u3053\u306e\u6c34\u3092\u98f2\u307f\u3001\u305d\u306e\u4e26\u3073\u306b\u3042\u308b\u7f8e\u5fa1\u795e\u793e\u3078\u304a\u53c2\u308a\u3059\u308b\u3068\u3001\u7f8e\u4eba\u306b\u306a\u308c\u308b\u3068\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<h4><span id=\"6_Ashiohji-sya\">6) Ashiohji-sya \u3000\u60aa\u738b\u5b50\u793e<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Japanese god had two concept of Aramitama and Nigimitama. This shrine is enshrined Aramitama of Susanoo-no-mikoto.<br \/>\n\uff08\u795e\u69d8\u306b\u306f\u3001\u300c\u8352\u9b42\uff08\u3042\u3089\u307f\u305f\u307e\uff09\u300d\u3068\u300c\u548c\u9b42\uff08\u306b\u304e\u307f\u305f\u307e\uff09\u300d\u304c\u3042\u308b\u304c\u3001\u3053\u3053\u3067\u306f\u7d20\u6214\u55da\u5c0a\u306e\u8352\u9b42\u304c\u7940\u3089\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<h4><span id=\"7_Tadamori_Garden_Lantern\">7) Tadamori Garden Lantern\u00a0 \u00a0\u5fe0\u76db\u706f\u7bed<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Tadanori, Kiyomori\u2019s father, was a samurai serving the Emperor Shirakawa.<br \/>\nWhen the Emperor passed through here in the rain, a monster-like shadow crossed. Tadamori confirmed his identity and was an old monk.
