selected as No1 for 5 years in \u201cthe ranking of popular sightseeing spots among foreign tourists in \/>\n\u2462 You are expected to bow in front of the Torii gate to pay your respects. It was one of the family shrine of Hata Family, Hata-no-Irogu, a powerful immigrant-family from Korea.\uff088\u4e16\u7d00\u306e711\u5e74\u306b\u5275\u5efa\u3055\u308c\u305f\u3068\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002\u305d\u308c\u306f\u3001\u97d3\u56fd\u304b\u3089\u5f37\u5927\u306a\u79fb\u6c11\u8c6a\u65cf \u79e6\u4f0a\u4fb6\u5177\u306e\u79e6\u4e00\u65cf\u3067\u3042\u308b\uff09<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"What_is_this_shrine_enshrined\">\uff14\uff09What is this shrine enshrined?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>\u2460 The shrine is dedicated to the benefit of huge harvests, prosperous business and the safety of family. (\u3053\u306e\u795e\u793e\u306f\u4e94\u7a40\u8c4a\u7a63\u3001\u5546\u58f2\u7e41\u76db\u3001\u5bb6\u5185\u5b89\u5168\u306e\u3054\u5229\u76ca\u304c\u3042\u308b\u3002)<br \/>\n\u2461 This consists of Main Gate, Main Santuary (Honden), Worshipping Hall, 1000 Red Torii Gate.\uff08\u3053\u306e\u795e\u793e\u306f\u4e3b\u306b\u3001\u6b63\u9580\uff08\u685c\u9580\uff09\u3001\u5916\u62dd\u6bbf\u3001\u5185\u62dd\u6bbf\u30fb\u672c\u6bbf\u3001\u5343\u672c\u9ce5\u5c45\u304b\u3089\u6210\u308b\u3002\uff09<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"Fox_messenger_of_the_Great_Inari_Myojin_Diety\">\uff15\uff09\u72d0\u306e\u304a\u4f7f\u3044\u3000Fox messenger of the Great Inari Myojin Diety<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>\u2460 Foxes are messengers of Inari god. You can find statues of fox at not only Fushimi Inari Shrine but also inari shrine all over the country.\uff08\u72d0\u306f\u7a32\u8377\u795e\u306e\u4f7f\u3044\u306a\u3093\u3060\u3002\u72d0\u306e\u50cf\u306f\u7a32\u8377\u5927\u793e\u3060\u3051\u3067\u306a\u304f\u5168\u56fd\u306e\u7a32\u8377\u795e\u793e\u3067\u898b\u308c\u308b\uff09<br \/>\n\u2461 The statue of fox with rice stalk is a symbol of huge harvest. Inari god is of agricultures.\u3000\uff08\u7a32\u7a42\u3092\u54a5\u3048\u3066\u3044\u308b\u306e\u306f\u72d0\u304c\u4e94\u7a40\u8c4a\u7a63\u306e\u8c61\u5fb4\u3001\u7a32\u8377\u795e\u306f\u8fb2\u696d\u306e\u795e\uff09<br \/>\n\u2462 The handscroll represents wisdom.\u3000\uff08\u5dfb\u7269\u306f\u77e5\u6075\u306e\u8c61\u5fb4\uff09<br \/>\n\u2463 The ball represents the virtue of Inari and the key their wishes for acquiring the virtue.\u3000\uff08\u7389\u306f\u7a32\u8377\u795e\u306e\u970a\u5fb3\u306e\u8c61\u5fb4\u3001\u9375\u306f\u305d\u306e\u970a\u5fb3\u3092\u8eab\u306b\u7740\u3051\u3088\u3046\u3068\u3059\u308b\u9858\u671b\u306e\u8c61\u5fb4\uff09<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"_After_worshipping_at_the_Main_Sanctuary_HallHonden\">\uff16\uff09\u672c\u6bbf\u3067\u62dd\u3093\u3060\u5f8c \u3000After worshipping at the Main Sanctuary Hall\uff08Honden\uff09<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>\u2460 This building is painted in vermilion and built in \u201cNagare Zukuri\u201d or Floating Architectural style. It is called \u201cInari Zukuri\u201d style because of special structure of protruding roof in the front.<br \/>\n(\u3053\u306e\u5efa\u7269\u306f\u6731\u8272\u3067\u5857\u3089\u308c\u3066\u3044\u3066\u6d41\u9020\u308a\u3067\u4f5c\u3089\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002\u5c4b\u6839\u306e\u524d\u304c\u7a81\u304d\u51fa\u3066\u3044\u308b\u69cb\u9020\u306e\u305f\u3081\u3001\u7a32\u8377\u9020\u308a\u3068\u3082\u547c\u3070\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3002)<br \/>\n\u2461 It is designated as an Important Cultural Property.\u3000The worshipping hall(Haiden) was built in 1981. (\u9858\u3044\u4e8b\u3092\u3059\u308b\u6642\u3001\u53c8\u306f\u9858\u3044\u4e8b\u304c\u53f6\u3063\u305f\u6642\u3001\u5949\u7d0d\u3055\u308c\u308b\u3002)<br \/>\n\u2463 Vermilion torii are believed to keep evils away. (\u6731\u8272\u306e\u9ce5\u5c45\u306f\u9b54\u9664\u3051\u3089\u3057\u3044\u3002)<br \/>\n\u2464 There are about 10,000 torii gates on hill at the site of the shrine.(\u5883\u5185\u306e\u4e2d\u306e\u5c71\u8179\u306b\u7d041\u4e07\u306e\u9ce5\u5c45\u304c\u4e26\u3093\u3067\u3044\u308b\u3002)<br \/>\n\u2465 These are called \u201cOne Thousand Torii \u201cbut there are actually 10 thousands of Torii in Fushimi Inari Shrine.\u3000\uff08\u540d\u524d\u306f\u300c\u5343\u672c\u9ce5\u5c45\u300d\u3060\u3051\u3069\u5b9f\u969b\u306b\u306f1\u4e07\u672c\u8fd1\u304f\u3042\u308b\uff09<br \/>\n\u2466 \u201cSenbon Torii\u201d is called only one part with thickly-packed smaller gates in two parallel tunnel. It literally means something like heavy-or-light stone.\uff08\u3053\u308c\u306f\u3001\u304a\u3082\u304b\u308b\u77f3\u3068\u547c\u3070\u308c\u3066\u3044\u3066\u3001\u6587\u5b57\u901a\u308a\u306e\u610f\u5473\u3067\u8a00\u3046\u3068Heavy-or-light stone\uff09<br \/>\n\u2461 At first, you are supposed to make a wish in mild in front of the lantern.\uff08\u307e\u305a\u3001\u706f\u7bed\u306e\u524d\u306b\u7acb\u3063\u3066\u81ea\u5206\u306e\u9858\u3044\u4e8b\u3092\u5fc3\u306e\u4e2d\u3067\u5ff5\u3058\u308b\u3093\u3060\u3002\uff09<br \/>\n\u2462 Then hold up the stone on the lantern.
